An important part of planning a good karaoke party is having a reliable karaoke application that can make things easier for everyone involved. One example comes from Minilyrics, a small plu-gin that is compatible with most multimedia players.

Normally, I use Winamp for listening to my favorite tunes and once I installed Minilyrics, the plug-in successfully located and downloaded all the lyrics I needed. Of course, you need an Internet connection, so, make sure you meet this requirement.

As soon as you click the Play button in your multimedia player, Minilyrics will display the most adequate result. But, if you wish to extend your search, the program will give you access to a search engine that can offer you more answers and you can then select the proper lyrics file.

A good aspect about using this lyric plug-in is that you can edit the content of the lyric file and save it to various text formats. You will also be able to upload the lyrics into the developer's database so that other users have access to it.

There was only one thing I didn't like regarding this tool: it constantly displayed ads on the main window and I had to click the X button over and over again. As for the rest, the program worked perfectly and, I must say, it was worth acquiring it.
